[BREAKING] APC PRIMARY: Tinubu Crushes Sitting Vice President, Others To Clinch Party’s Ticket
Against all odds and with the inability of the leaders of the All Progressives Congress to reach Consensus, the Frontline leader and leading Aspirant in the presidential race of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has defeated other Aspirants including the incumbent vice president, Prof Yemi Osinbajo in a Keenly contested Free and Fair Primary of the All Progressives Congress held at the Eagles Square, Abuja.

Earlier before the Primary commenced, stakeholders and leaders of the party have in several meetings met with President, Mohammadu Buhari to consider consensus option. In a failed consensus attempt, the Aspirants were given a leveled playing field for popularity test with seven out of the 21 contesting Aspirants building last minute bond and stepping down to team up with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
With the emergence of Tinubu, the clamour for power shift to the Southern region by the party has finally seen the light of the day.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be slugging it out with major contender Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party, Peter Obi of the Labour Party and other parties flagbearers in the 2023 general election.
