In order to cushion covid 19 pandemic lockdown in Ondo State especially in Ikale land, the chairman State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) in Ondo State, Princess Oladunni Odu has rolled out palliative for the people of Okitipupa Local Government Area of the state.
In an ongoing process, the Ondo State government under Arakunrin Odunayo Akeredolu’s led administration started giving out palliative to the vulnerable citizens across the eighteen Local Government Areas of the State. Princess Oladunni Odu added five thousand naira (N5,000) each while disbursing that of Okitipupa Local Government.
According to the statement made available to press by her Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mike Kuwoye, Princess Odu while giving out the monetary palliative said, a time as this is a time to give out to vulnerable people in the community.
Princess Odu who is one of the leaders who supervised the disbursement of the state palliative materials in Okitipupa Local Government added the monetary palliative to the vulnerable in the constituency II of Okitipupa Local Government.
Among those who benefitted from the palliative are people with special need, octogenarians and less privileged. One of the beneficiaries, Mr. Betiku Michael appreciated the state government and Princess Oladunni Odu for the gesture.
Princess Oladunni Odu also advised individuals whom God has blessed to reach out to the poor in their various community at this critical period and added that government can not do it alone.
